Super Armor

Super Armor is a buff state that prevents the affected entity from being staggered or interrupted during attacks. Many boss enemies activate Super Armor during their powerful attack sequences, making them immune to flinching from the player's attacks until the armor is broken or the attack completes.

Breaking Super Armor requires sustained damage, specific abilities like Turning Slash Mastery, or repeated successful parries. When Super Armor breaks, the enemy enters a prolonged stagger state that provides the largest damage window in the game. Understanding which boss attacks have Super Armor and which don't is essential for efficient combat.
